2023 String Award

Karina Bernatowicz attends Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts as a senior. Karina studied violin for 12 years and currently studies with Michael Montero.

     Karina serves as the concertmaster of Pocono Symphony Youth Orchestra, Charter Arts Orchestra, and first violin of the Pocono Youth Orchestra Chamber Program: String Quartet; String Trio; Violin Quartet; & Violin Trio. Karina has performed with Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA) District 10 and Northeast Region Orchestras.

Academically, Karina is a member of the National Honor Society and Tri-Music Honor Society. She applied to 4 colleges with her goal to become a music educator along with becoming a better performer so she can “share what I am passionate about with less nerves that can sometimes produce artistic boundaries.”
